Susan Park President's Award for Excellence: Daniel P. Dain
Daniel P. Dain has devoted his professional career to the question of what makes cities successful. Through his law practice and research on urban policy and law, he has concluded that constant innovation is the lifeblood of vital cities, and to create the conditions necessary to foster innovation, cities must be committed to what Dan calls the three “Ds” – density, diversity, and [good urban] design – how to create those urban spaces that will attract lots of people from different backgrounds and experiences to exchange ideas that will lead to new insights and innovations.
Kevin Cradock
Kevin Cradock grew up in the Boston neighborhood of Jamaica Plain, surrounded by classic homes that awakened a love of carpentry and an appreciation for traditional craftsmanship. Beginning his career as a finish carpenter renovating classic Boston homes, Kevin gradually moved toward creating distinctive custom cabinetry for his building and renovation projects. By the mid-1990’s he established his own shop, and, in collaboration with local designers, devoted himself to crafting the finest custom millwork, cabinetry and furniture available.
Peter Covo
Peter Covo is a real estate attorney and partner at the Boston-based law firm Conn Kavanaugh Rosenthal Peisch & Ford, LLP. He advises clients on strategic real estate transactions, zoning, and development matters. His passion for history, culture, and the arts informs his love of real estate and the potential of properties. Peter grew up in Mexico and speaks fluent Spanish. He often travels back to visit his family.

Jon-Lawrence Koloba
Born and raised in Easton, Massachusetts, Jon-Lawrence Koloba is no stranger to the works of H.H. Richardson and Frederick Law Olmstead. Koloba is currently a Project Engineer at Paradigm Energy Services, where he develops energy efficiency projects for eligible buildings across the state of Massachusetts. These projects include, but are not limited to, lighting systems, weatherization, insulation, windows, & HVAC systems. He received his B.S. in Sustainable Urban Environments from NYU Tandon School of Engineering, and his M.A.
