The redevelopment of the four-story Hibernian Hall restores this 1913 building to its historic prominence as a center for cultural and social activities in the Dudley Square area of Roxbury.  Once the liveliest dance hall in Boston, the building was restored to its historic use as a multi-purpose cultural events venue supporting dance, performance, film and video, and other community gatherings.  Other space in the building was developed for retail shops and restaurants, office space (targeted primarily toward arts-related users), and rehearsal and studio space.
