Designed by Thomas Lamb as a vaudeville palace, the restored 1928 Opera House theatre stands as one of the nation’s finest in opulence, gilt, and quality of detailing.  At the end of the 1990s, after a decade of neglect and

deterioration, the Opera House was in a perilous state of disrepair. A restoration team of architects, engineers, contractors, and artisans set about bringing this jewel back to life. In addition to re-establishing structural integrity and constructing modern stage housing, the team restored the Outer Lobby, Grand Foyer, Memorial Hall, and theatre space to their original splendor.
