NEWS: Director of Advocacy, Alison Frazee, recognized with highest honor at 2018 Tsongas Awards

The Alliance had an impressive showing at Preservation Massachusetts’s 30th Annual Paul & Niki Tsongas Awards Dinner held on May 9 at the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel in Boston. Recognized for pushing preservation forward, included among The Next Generation award honorees were Alison Frazee, Director of Advocacy at the Alliance; Amanda Sanders, Associate at Goody Clancy; Lori Ferriss, Structural Engineer at Goody Clancy; Kelly Lyons, Project Estimator at Shawmut; Nicole Benjamin-Ma, Preservation Planner at VHB; and Regan Shields Ives, Principal at Feingold Alexander Architects.

Frazee is leading efforts at the Alliance to weave climate resiliency into community preservation efforts. Since 2017, she has also served as Co-Chair of the Steering Committee for Yes for a Better Boston and provides technical assistance to the community. Sanders, Ferriss, and Lyons are active members of the Young Advisors, with Lyons currently serving as President. Benjamin-Ma and Shields Ives, members of the Board, first joined the Alliance as Young Advisors. The Alliance is proud of this group for broadening the use of preservation in our communities and congratulates all of the 2018 Next Generation award recipients!
